佛光山三寶寺、佛光寺、菩提寺聯合舉辦藥師法會將於本週日11月7日上午10點舉行，並採取線上直播方式。藉由燃燈續明、諷經讚詠、禮拜旋繞，讓我們與藥師佛之悲願相應，修戒定慧學，得清淨的身口意業。所集功勳回向護法信眾安居樂業、福壽增益、平安吉祥、並祈願社會安和樂利、世界早日和平。歡迎信眾們，點燈續明。闔府攜眷於線上共同參與藥師法會，同霑法益。

為方便信眾們可提前來藥師壇場禮拜，常住特於11月6日（六）1pm-5pm開放壇場，燃燈供佛。歡迎大眾回寺禮佛、點燈、上香。

11/7（日）藥師法會圓滿當日下午5:30pm-7pm, 歡迎有點燈信眾來寺取結緣品，同時將供佛的花朵帶回家。願佛菩薩庇佑平安健康 所求滿願。

Announcement for San Bao Temple Nov 7, 2021 The Medicine Buddha Dharma Service

Dear Dharma Friends and Devotees,

Fo Guang Shan San Bao Temple、The Light of Buddha Temple、Bodhi Temple’s Medicine Buddha Dharma Service will be held online at 10AM on Sunday, November 7.

During the service, the Medicine Buddha Sutra will be recited and lamps offered in the Main Shrine, the merit of which will serve as the bridge connecting us with the Medicine Buddha. We dedicate all merits from the service for world peace and blessings for the family members of every devotee. May all be blessed with joy, wisdom, and peace!

San Bao Temple will be open from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, November 6th. We invite everyone who wishes to venerate the buddhas, offer incense and light lamps.

On the day of the completion of the Medicine Buddha Dharma Service on Nov 7, we welcome all devotees to come to the temple to pick up your offerings from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. May the Buddha and Bodhisattva bless everyone with safety, and good health.

The 2021 Ullambana Festival (the month of filial piety) is approaching soon. To emulate the Arhat Maudgalyayana’s memorialization of his mother and promote the virtue of filial piety and repaying kindness, Northern California Fo Guang Shan Temples will be conducting the Filial Piety Emperor Liang Repentance Dharma Service from Aug 12–Aug 15 (Real time online broadcasting). Merits gained from these Dharma services will be dedicated to the ancestors and departed loved ones so that they may be reborn in the Buddha’s pure land. This is also a good opportunity to repent transgressions, purify the minds, and nurture the wisdom.
May the Triple Gem bless the society with peace and harmony, and bless you and your family with safety and auspiciousness!

The Northern California FGS branch Temples will be conducting the “Qing Ming Memorial Dharma Service” on April 4th from 10am to 4pm .  We welcome everyone to join us online to pay homage to the Buddhas and pray for blessings, as well as dedicate this merit back to our deceased family and ancestors.

佛光山北加州道場「信徒香會」暨精進修持活動

「信徒香會」是佛教寺院每年的重要活動之一。每逢信徒香會，所有信徒都會到道場上香祈福。佛光山遵循傳統，選擇在開山星雲大師出家的這一天，亦即農曆二月初一舉辦信徒香會，也是讓信徒學習佛法、精進修持、與師父接心的重要日子。
佛光山北加州道場將於3/13(農曆二月一)星期六上午舉辦精進禮佛修持。大家共同學習師父上人禮拜觀世音菩薩祈願文「悉法菩提心，蓮華遍地生，弟子心朦朧，禮拜觀世音，求聰明，拜智慧，南無大慈大悲、救苦救難、觀世音菩薩」百拜，並發願也能像師父上人一樣開智慧，發心為大眾做更多事。歡迎大家當天連接上線與法師們一同禮拜修持。

Northern California Fo Guang Shan Temples Devotee’s Dharma Gathering & Cultivation Event.
Devotee’s Dharma Gathering is one of the most important events for Buddhist monasteries as it’s time when devotees come to the temple to make offerings and pray. Fo Guang Shan has followed this tradition and dedicated Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s renunciation date, Lunar February 1st , as the day to host the Dharma Gathering. It is a day where devotees can dedicate their time to learn, cultivate the Dharma, and most importantly, learn more about Venerable Master Hsing Yun’s teaching.
Northern California Fo Guang Shan Temples will conduct a cultivation event on Saturday, March 13th (Lunar February 1st). We will follow how Venerable Master Hsing Yun prostrated to the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva in seeking wisdom when he was young. As we prostrate to the “An Inspiration to Give Rise to the Bodhi Mind” verse, we shall vow to attain wisdom like Venerable Master Hsing Yun did and resolve to do more for all mankind. Please join us for this special cultivation event!
